So long as you have the basic safety equipment: helmet, goggles, gloves, and appropriate, waterproof mountain wear, you’re all set.
Snowboard-wise, unless you have your own, it can be good to go for the more intermediate packages that rental shops offer as you’ll get a board more suited to your level. We will be happy to advise if you need any help.
All of this gear is available for rent at reasonable prices from a number of local rental shops.
