I work with riders who are either working towards their instructor qualifications or who want to tighten up their teaching and technical riding to a higher standard.
A lot of what I do comes from my own background as a BASI trainer and examiner, delivering both entry-level and more advanced instructor courses. So the focus here isn’t abstract theory – it’s based on what actually gets asked for in assessments, and what holds up in real teaching environments.
We can work across all major instructor pathways and governing bodies. The systems might differ slightly, but the fundamentals don’t really change: strong riding, clear demonstrations, good understanding of movement, and the ability to communicate it simply under pressure.
A big part of the process is feedback, and I’ll often use video to help break things down properly. It’s a useful way of seeing what’s actually happening, not just what it feels like, and turning that into clear, workable changes.
From there, we’ll build things out into a clear action plan – so you’re not just getting feedback on the day, but you understand the steps required to improve both your technical riding and your teaching performance. The idea is to give you direction and structure so your development continues between sessions.
For individual sessions, I keep the pricing the same as my standard private coaching.
If you want something more regular or a full-season development plan, I’m happy to build something around that. It depends on your goals, how often you’re on snow, and what you’re trying to achieve.
